Congratulations Sam on your new win as Young Miss Inland California!  Sam is also crowned as Young Miss City of Temecula.

Prior to this weekend’s pageant, we did a photo shoot in San Diego’s beautiful Balboa Park.  Sam needed new photos for the most photogenic competition and photographs with her Young Miss City of Temecula crown and sash.

The day of the photoshoot we loaded up and took off for San Diego.  The weather was warmer than usual, but Sam was a trooper and we went to several locations within Balboa Park and changed multiple times so that she would have plenty of photographs to choose from.

We had so much fun!  Little girls would come up to her and ask to take a photo with her because she looked like a princess.  It was so cute!

Here is a little about Sam…..

How do you balance high school and all of your extracurricular activities?

Sam:  I balance out my busy schedule by making time for both school and all my activities. I find it very important to have this balance in order to be successful and strive towards more goals I have later in my life.

What is your greatest accomplishment?

Sam: My biggest accomplishment was taking the step to join theater and pageants in order to not only gain more confidence, but to know what it's like to win and lose and learn from all the experience along the way.

If you could meet one celebrity who would it be?

Sam:  One celebrity I would want to meet would be Beyoncé not only because she's a great musician but she inspires me and many others through her outreach for equality between men and women.

Who is your role model?

Sam:  My biggest role model would have to be my mom because she inspires me every day to be a better me. She has taught me organizational skills that I will use forever and to never give up on my dreams no matter what.

What is your favorite thing to do when you are at home?

Sam:  My favorite things to do at home would be either watching TV and enjoying some free time or being with my family.
